For any project to be successful, careful planning, monitoring, and management is very essential. Project management involves multiple aspects like application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements. Our company has been very particular to implement the best practices of Project Management into our work methodology to reap in the benefits to the full extent.
With project management practice becoming one of the mandatory practices in the industry, we can proudly announce that we have implemented this in our workplace ever since we are aware of the concept.
We follow Agile methodology in our organization to accommodate varying requirements from customers. Along with this, to keep track of the project activities, we follow these steps:

Monitoring and Controlling
These steps are explained in detail below:
Project Initiation - This milestone consists of aligning the stakeholders expectations with the project's purpose. This involves pointers like identifying stakeholders, determining project goals, determining initial scope, identifying constraints and assumptions, defining high-level resource requirements, etc.
Project Planning - While the main goal of the planning process group is to create the Project Management Plan, other subsidiary management plans are also created here. This includes subsidiary management plans for scope, schedule, budget, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement knowledge areas.
Project Execution - The processes in this step are related to complete the work in the project management plan that was designed to satisfy the project specifications.
Project Closure - The processes in this step are related to performing final product verification, delivering final contract, performance reporting, auditing of all procured service/merchandise, obtaining formal contract acceptance etc.
As Agile methodology prescribes, we endeavour to implement best practices in our project management guidelines. By following these best practices, we have proceeded towards embracing next-gen standards.
These are some of our implementations:
Achieving customer satisfaction through rapid and continuous delivery.
Product delivery in short but frequent releases
Involving the customer in product development through regular calls and in-person meetings
Attention to detail and concentrating on simplicity aspects
Conducting daily stand-up and scrum meetings to keep everyone appraised about the development activities
Multiple rounds of product testing
To minimize work complexity, we divide any work order into small units. This is how we have implemented our work methodology:

Every work order is divided into programs, in turn every program is sub-divided into projects and every project into sub-projects and so on. This provides two advantages:
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is initiated to simplify things
Everyone involved will be accountable to a particular task assigned and confusions are avoided
